02Process
How a car moves through the shop
Every car takes the same route. Some spend a great deal longer at stage three than others.
Intake
Clear coat thickness measured across every panel, defects marked under raking light.
Decontamination
Iron fallout and tar lifted chemically. Then a clay bar, then a rinse in filtered water.
Correction
Wool, then foam, then a finishing pad. This is where the days go.
Coating
Ceramic goes on by hand, panel by panel, and cures overnight at a held temperature.
Delivery
Checked under three different lights. If we find something, it goes back.

Drag the handle
Front-right fender on a sedan that arrived with a dent and oxidized clear coat. We pulled the dent, levelled the clear coat, and refinished it under studio lamps. Both sides of the slider show the same panel in the same light.
